For years I have lived with stacks of paper cluttering every random drawer, cabinet, & random bags in my home- it's like I'm a paper hoarder! I decided to get my paper clutter in order. Initially, I wanted to just purchase a pretty storage bench for a max of $20 bucks to have a place to file away important paperwork and keep them organized. The more I looked and looked, I saw nothing in my price range for what I wanted.
I'm the type of person that wants to have stuff stored away but have it not be so noticeable that it's storage - you get me? (giggles) I just like to mask / hide stuff so that my home, which is already small, doesn't have random eyesores. I have to be a bit clever and have storage around the house that looks like it was meant to be there.
I came to the conclusion that I was going have to make this filing bench myself and I love how it came out, if you would like to make it yourself here is what you will need.
